What should I wear to pole dancing class?
Your skin making contact with the pole is what helps give you the grip to perform many of the spins and tricks. For beginner classes: form-fitting clothes that expose the skin on your arms to your shoulders, and your legs from mid thigh down. Short “boyshorts”, tank tops, and sports bras are appropriate. All Levels: NO oils, lotions or moisturizes. Slippery skin has no grip and can cause serious injury. You must also remove all jewelry from you fingers, wrists, neck, ears, ankles, bellybutton, etc. Not only can it damage the pole’s surface, but can cause you bodily injury by scratching or piercing the skin, or even catching onto clothing.
Will Pole Dancing be too hard for me?
No, but it will be challenging! Don’t be afraid to be a beginner! With pole dancing, everybody really does start from scratch…EVERYBODY! Whether you are someone that hasn’t exercised in over 6 months or a die hard athlete, everyone has to learn to train their muscles specifically for pole dancing. No matter your age, weight, or fitness level, our Pole Dancing classes are designed to teach you proper techniques that will start you learning in a safe, controlled, yet challenging environment. You will work hard, but you will have fun! You will feel muscles you've never felt working before!
Oh, and plan on a few minor bruises… your muscles just have to get used to contact with the pole.
How old do I have to be to sign up for classes?
If you are under 18, a parent must accompany you to your first class to sign a waiver with you.
What are the class sizes? Will I have my own pole?
We currently have 4 X-Pert X-poles in our studio and the classes are limited to 8 people. If the class is full, you will share the pole with one other person. Pole fitness can be quite taxing on the body and sharing the pole will allow you to receive intervals of rest while the other student take their turns. Trust us! You’ll welcome the breaks!
Can I receive a refund?
Online Payment: All sales are final, however, you may reschedule your reservation online up to ONE HOUR prior to the class time.
Prepaid Classes or Memberships: All sales are final. You may reschedule any class up to ONE HOUR prior to the class time. No transfers or substitutes.
Can I bring my child?
